Keith John Kingston Roberts był brytyjskim autorem science fiction.

Kilka z jego wczesnych opowiadań zostało napisanych pod pseudonimem Alistair Bevan. Jego druga powieść, Pavane, która w rzeczywistości jest zbiorem powiązanych ze sobą historii, może być jego najsłynniejszym dziełem: alternatywna powieść historyczna, w której Kościół rzymskokatolicki przejmuje kontrolę nad Anglią po zabójstwie królowej Elżbiety I.

Roberts napisał wiele powieści i krótkich opowiadań, a także pracował jako ilustrator. Jego wkład artystyczny obejmuje okładki i grafiki wnętrz dla New Worlds i Science Fantasy, później przemianowanych na Impulse. Redagował także kilka ostatnich numerów Impulse, chociaż nominalnym redaktorem był Harry Harrison.

W późniejszym życiu Roberts mieszkał w Salisbury. W 1990 roku zdiagnozowano u niego stwardnienie rozsiane i zmarł z powodu powikłań w październiku 2000. Nekrologi wspominały go jako utalentowanego, ale „trudnego” osobiście autora, z historią sporów z wydawcami, redaktorami i współpracownikami.
