Brian Patrick Herbert (ur. 29 czerwca 1947 r. w Seattle w stanie Washington) to amerykański pisarz science-fiction. Jest starszym synem Franka Herberta. Znany głównie z kontynuacji sagi Diuny.

Zaczynał od krótkich zbiorów humorystycznych, poprzez powieści science-fiction o zabarwieniu satyrycznym, by w 1986 r. napisać wspólnie z ojcem Man of Two Worlds. W 2003 r. ukończył biografię Franka Herberta Dreamer of Dune, która otrzymała nominację do nagrody Hugo.

Po śmierci ojca edytował 2 zbiory ze świata Diuny: epigrafów - Notebooks of Frank Herbert's Dune i poezji The Songs of Muad'Dib.
