Jeffrey Scott VanderMeer (ur. 7 lipca 1968 roku) amerykański pisarz, wydawca, krytyk i antologista. jeden z najważniejszych twórców gatunku new weird.

Najbardziej znany z cyklu opowiadań i powieści osadzonych w tajemniczym miescie molochu Ambergris. Część opowiesci przybiera postać fikcyjnych dokumentów, raportów, plakatów, wycinków prasowych z rzeczonego miasta.
