Elaine Cunningham ur. 12 sierpnia 1957 w Nowym Jorku amerykańska pisarka fantasy, znana przede wszystkim z utworów pisanych do światów: Dungeons & Dragons, Forgotten Realms.

Cunningham zdobyła dyplom z muzyki, przez wiele lat uczyła muzyki i historii w szkole.

Cunningham zaczęła pisać, kiedy jej najstarszy syn był jeszcze dzieckiem. Jest autorką kilku powieści osadzonych w Forgotten Realms. Pisała również powieści do serii Wszechświat Gwiezdnych Wojen.

Elaine mieszka w Nowej Anglii z mężem i dwoma synami.
