Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, amerykańska pisarka fantasy, horrorów i science fiction, ur. 1942 roku w Berkeley w Kalifornii. Ukończyła San Francisco State College (obecnie Uniwersytet). W listopadzie 1969 roku wyszła za mąż za Donalda Simpsona, rozwiodła się w lutym 1982 roku. Nie ma dzieci.

Yarbro pisała wiele gatunków, od science fiction do westernów, od przygodowych powieści young adult po historyczne horrory. Jest autorką ponad 70 powieści i wielu opowiadań. Najbardziej znana z serii horrorów o wampirach hrabiego Saint-Germain.

Wkład Yarbro do horroru została uhonorowany nadaniem jej tytułu Grand Master na konwencji światowego horroru w 2003 roku, nazywana jest też "żyjącą legendą" gatunku. Towarzystwo Rycerskiego Zakonu Cytadeli Brasszów (Rumunia) przyznała jej jej honorowe członkostwo.

Yarbro jest przyjacielem Whitleya Striebera, pojawia się jako postać w jego powieści Warday.

Pseudonimy: C. Q. Yarbro, Quinn Yarbro, Quinn Fawcett, Trystam Kith, Camille Gabor.
