Vajra Chandrasekera pochodzi z Kolombo na Sri Lance. Jego debiutancka powieść The Saint of Bright Doors zdobyła nagrody Locus, Nebula i Crawford oraz została uznana przez New York Times za godną uwagi książkę roku 2023.
