Damon Francis Knight (1922-2002) amerykański pisarz science fiction, krytyk literacki, selekcjoner antologii. Jako twórca nie wywarł większego wpływu na amerykańską science fiction, ale jako redaktor magazynów ("Snide" w 1941, "Worlds Beyond" 1950-1951, "If" 1958-1959 i "Pulphouse" w 1995) oraz redaktor antologii wywarł spory wpływ na kształtowanie rodzimej fantastyki. Zwłaszcza antologie serii "orbit" (1966-1980) miały duże wzięcie. Knight był też znanym krytykiem, chociaż jego prace ostro skrytykował "Stanisław Lem" w Fantastyce i futurologii.

Prywatnie Knight był mężem pisarki Kate Wilhelm, laureatki Hugo i Nebuli.
