Horace Leonard Gold (1914-1996) amerykański pisarz, wydawca i redaktor science fiction. Zwłaszcza z tej ostatniej funkcji jest znany, gdyż obejmujac w 1950 roku magazyn "Galaxy Science Fiction" zbudował przeciwwagę do magazynów Campbella i Gernsbacka, stawiając na fantastykę socjologiczną i satyrę społeczną. U niego rozkwitły takie pisarkie gwiazdy jak Ray Bradbury, Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov. Jako pisarz pozostaje zapomniany, autor jednej powieści, kilkunastu opowiadań.

Utwory podpisywał: C. C. Campbell, Clyde C. Campbell, Clyde Crane Campbell, Dudley Dell, Horace L. Gold , Christopher Grimm , The Editor.
